Private real estate sale through eBay
Private house sales and for sale by owner ( FSBO) real estate property sale can be performed with no agent or no commission through the private real estate sale website Privatepoint.
It is now possible for real estate private sale and for sale by owner property sales to get greater internet exposure for their property listing through Domain.com.au. Domain has partnered with eBay as their exclusive property partner to launch a new real estate category, powered by Domain.com.au.
This means that all Domain listings are made available to eBay and will be carried across the eBay website. eBay has a massive online audience as they are the most frequent retail site in Australia with more than 5.2 million unique visitors each month. This direct link to Domain should drive more traffic to private real estate sale and for sale by owner property listings and generate more enquiries.

This is great news. Domain appear to be trying to get their listings out to as many eyeballs as possible. There also send there listings to Cracker and Just Listed.
It is good to see they are trying to provide value for money.

It isn’t sending your listings to another website, rather it is providing a link on the website (www.eBay.com.au) back to http://www.Domain.com.au.
All it is doing is marketing http://www.Domain.com.au across number of avenues on the internet and attracting viewers to http://www.Domain.com.au.
It doesn’t solve the problem that http://www.Domain.com.au has a stinking navigation system and is annoying to use.

It is extremely slow and it doesn’t allow you to narrow your search to specific property types from when you first land on the website. Also, I find those bloody featured listings to big and they take up all the room on the search results page.

Domain need all the help they can get, according to a friend of mine who is an agent, he thinks domain are pathetic at delivering leads to agents and lack far behind http://www.realestate.com.au.
