New Look Privatepoint

Finally Australia’s best free private real estate selling website has had a facelift. We have listened to the feedback of our property owners and private sellers and redesigned the Privatepoint website and system to make things a little easier and a lot more enjoyable.

The first noticeable change is that Privatepoint is free. We were previously charging $198 because this is the fee we were required to pay Propertypoint one of the websites we automatically send your property listing to. Property listings entered in Privatepoint will no longer automatically appear on Propertypoint. Rather, if you would like your listing to appear on Propertypoint you can request this addition and pay Privatepoint the listing fee of $198.

The website is now a lot easier to navigate and how Privatepoint works is clearly outlined. The blog now has an archive by month meaning you can check you have not missed out on any previous discussions.

We have added an email subscription functionality to the blog meaning you can subscribe by entering your email so every time a new article is added to the Privatepoint blog you will receive an email notification. This is a great way to keep updated about what is going on at Privatepoint and issues and events in the real estate industry.

Another way to keep updated about recent and past Privatepoint articles is to sign up for a RSS News Feed. To do this you simply press subscribe and your web browser places the Privatepoint News Feed in your favourites. This means when you want to view the articles in the Privatepoint blog you simply choose Privatepoint from your RSS Bookmarks in your web browser. The news feed which appears summarises the last 10 articles posted by Privatepoint.

The following changes have been made to the Privatepoint system:

• Your username is now your email address
• You now select your password when you sign up
• You no longer need to confirm your account by checking your email
• As soon as you have set up an account you will be redirected directly to your personal Dashboard
• Your Dashboard is now a lot more simplified
• Instruction tabs are now placed around your Dashboard and subpages

Best of all, we have added Suburb View to the list of websites we send your property listing to. We are currently in discussions to send your property listing to other real estate websites, so keep an eye open for other websites as they come on board.
